Ace Dance Academy Faculty

Gracie Mitchell graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (BLA) and a minor in Dance. Gracie has been dancing since she was three years old and has trained extensively in contemporary, modern, tap, ballet, and jazz at Ace Dance Academy. At Cal Poly, she trained in modern under the direction of Diana Stanton and contemporary/jazz and tap under Leann Alduenda.
From 2021 to 2025, she was a member of Cal Poly’s prestigious Orchesis Dance Company, performing in works by faculty, student, and guest choreographers. In 2024–2025, she also served as an Administrative Arts Intern for the company. Gracie choreographed and performed an original tap piece for Cal Poly’s Spring Dance Concert in 2022 and co-choreographed additional tap works for the same show in 2024 and 2025.
She currently works as a Landscape Designer in Walnut Creek, continuing to explore the intersections between movement, design, and the natural environment.
